I will NOT be returning & neither will my family & friends. THE WHOLE REASON WE GO IS FOR A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!! After this last visit, seeing how the place is just becoming run down & terrible service. He had the receptionist call to say they’ll refund the extra charge that was a mistake but can NOT do anything for my bad experience. Yani DIDN’T even give me the respect or courtesy of calling me back himself. She said she’ll talk to Yani & get back with me. Eventually the receptionist asked me what happened. HE WOULDN’T GET ON THE PHONE! They kept saying he was with a customer. The next day I call to speak with Yani to tell him about my experience and the extra charge. Then he starts TEXTING on his phone!! A FEW TIMES!!! At this point I’m trying to just enjoy MY BDAY!! I go have my facial no prob. Yes imagine standing there waiting & all you hear is clip clip clip. I literally was standing there waiting for him for a few mins while he CLIPPED HIS FINGER NAILS. The gentleman was very kind but unprofessional. After the loofah I was taken to my massage. Never mind I went to sit in the dry sauna room while I waited. They tried to create a sitting area and there’s absolutely no padding on the seats. I go to the restroom, paint is pealing off the walls. Glad I brought my things in a beach type bag because I’d hate to put my things in the locker without being in a bag. She says “use this one cause I know this one always works”. I get upstairs and while being checked in the tell me which locker to use cause the place is clearly falling apart. To not upset my set I paid it and said I’ll bring the paperwork back another day & talk to him. I arrive 20 mins early and I’m CHARGED an additional $41 □□. He wrote it all down for me “so there’s no confusion”. HE said let me find you a package and give you an upgrade to the package to cover the hot stone massage PLUS my 10% discount for my bday. Milk& honey loofah scrub, hot stone massage & facial. Yani, one of the owners booked everything with me. I went in 3 days before to plan out my day & pay in advance. I have been coming here for years plus buying 4 other family & friends gift cards here. Since money wasnt the issue a discount was nice but did not give me the stress relief i needed. I asked about the standards of care for pedicures he didnt know. I told him about the chair which he had no idea. I told him about my experience and was told he would give me a corporate rate. I will say that when i paid i spoke with a white man with brown hair and eyes. Especially when this is considered a treat and self care for most women. No customer should have to tell the tech how to do their job. The whole experience was so disappointing and underwhelming. Nor was the much needed relief and have my minimal expectation was not met. She did not trim the skin around the top of my toes. Furthermore when asked her to file down the top of the nails were some are thickened, it seemed was another alien concept. Which seemed beyond her comprehension to the point I asked the lady next to me to show her toe nails to my tech. I repeatedly ask for her to cut my nails shorter. I went to Contour Day Spa in Plantation Florida for a pedicure. Nguyen's friends said her divorce from Ngo was finalized last Tuesday. In my experience and thats getting and going to spas all over. Plantation Police say the couple had a fight on Friday night and Ngo is charged with killing Jade. They let him go and he went to the house and he shot her and he killed her." "She had restraining orders against him and the system failed her. "She couldn't get away from him as much as she tried," Rodriguez said. She said Jade told her that her husband Brandon Ngo abused her. "She was a vibrant young woman, new to this country and was trying to do everything she could to be a model citizen."Īileen Rodriguez said Jade was her nail technician for years and they became close friends. "She had a priceless smile and a great energy about her," Rodriguez said. If he couldn't have her nobody could have her."Īileen Rodriguez said Jade worked hard and supported family in her native Vietnam. For a woman full of life and light, those closest to her want her death to be a reminder of the dangers of domestic abuse.
